Landscape Institute Climate Change Position Statement features two Humber Projects

The Landscape Institute released its Climate Change Position Statement in late 2008, setting out the case for an holistic approach to landscape in response to Climate Change. The document also provides ten case studies of approaches taken to climate change adaptation and mitigation by landscape architects.

Four of the ten featured projects are in Yorkshire and, of those, two are major projects on the Humber: Barton Waters’ Edge Country Park and Business Centre; and Alkborough Flats Managed Realignment. These are projects with which we were closely involved, and of which we are particularly proud.
