Short Biography

Stephanie joined Maslen Environmental in 2007, having worked for ASH Design and Assessment, a firm of landscape architects in Glasgow who she joined after qualifying as a landscape architect at Edinburgh College of Art/Heriot-Watt University.

Stephanie has worked on a variety of landscape design, environmental improvement and environmental assessment projects, including project managing EIA’s and the landscape and visual impact assessment for a number of wind farm and hydroelectric schemes; landscape master planning and detailed designs for a technology park and canal gateway development.

Prior to qualifying as a landscape architect, Stephanie worked as a freshwater ecologist for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA),and the Environment Agency and its predecessor the National Rivers Authority. During her time at SEPA she was involved in their Habitat Enhancement Initiative, providing information and advice on aquatic habitat restoration, protection, and enhancement, developing guidance and contributing content for published guidance notes, and publicity materials for the project.
