Travelling to Saltaire and Salts Mill
|
- Saltaire is 4 miles north of Bradford, 15 minutes
from the M606 and the M62 motorway. Follow the brown
tourist information signs to ‘Salts Mill’
from the M62/M606.
- There is a large free public car park at the Mill,
accessed via Victoria Street off the A657 Saltaire
Road and Salts Mill Road from Shipley, adjacent to
the canal. Follow the pedestrian signs to the mill
from the car park.
- Alternatively there is a pay and display car park
in the village of Saltaire. Limited short stay parking
may be available on Victoria Road.
- There is a reserved area for disabled parking. If
you are disabled and driving alone, please phone first
for access directions.
- Saltaire railway is located on Victoria Road and
is directly opposite Salts Mill. It takes 15 minutes
to Leeds or Bradford. Regular services run from Bradford
and Leeds via Shipley.
- The nearest airport is Leeds/Bradford airport -
8 miles away.
- Our office can be found at the end of the cobbled
street that is directly opposite the entrance to the
galleries at Salts Mill. Enter through the double
doors and proceed through the door opposite and up
the stairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs and
through the double doors. Our entrance is immediately
on the right.
